Holiday Fair
The Grade Two Students had their Holiday Fair. They researched their holiday, created an activity and made a recipe connected to their holiday. Then the Grade One students came to our class and participated.
Grade Three Christmas Markt
Based on the European style Christmas Markts our Grade Three students created a plan for a product, researched the costs, projected their profits, created their product, calculated their float, sold their product, calculated their earnings, calculated the tax they need to pay, paid off the loans they took out to buy their products and discovered their profit. All of this was done with fake money. Cindy's fruit punch stand made the most profit. Our class discussed and thought this was because her product was affordable, there was lots of food products that made people thirsty and she was the only on selling a drink. Everyone did an excellent job!
