Classroom Information

Thank you for joining us for curriculum night. It is a pleasure to be working with your child. Here is some information about how our classroom works.

Homework: Students are asked to either read for twenty minutes or work on Mathletics each night. They are also asked to complete their homework sheet each day and write in their journal during the weekend.  Homework is not mandatory but is encouraged.

Shoes: Please ensure that your child has two pairs of shoes; one pair for inside and one pair for outside.

Classroom Duties: Each table group in our classroom is responsible for completing various duties to help support and maintain our classroom. Each week they rotate duties.

Marbles: When everyone in a table group completes their homework they earn a marble. A marble is worth three minutes of Free choice activities at the end of the week.  Students can earn marbles for random acts of kindness or responsibility. Students can also lose marbles if they are acting out.

Blog: Updates about what is going on in our class are posted on our blog. www.msjaynesclass.blogspot.ca
